Former Czech goalkeeper Petr Czech, who worked for the English Premier League football club London’s Chelsea at the end of his career, resigned on Monday after the club changed owners. Bruce Buck, the team’s chairman, and Marina Granovska, the club’s director, also resigned after a £ 4.25 billion acquisition of Chelsea by a group of investors led by Todd Bolley.

The Czech Republic, who triumphed in the Premier League four times during his career with Chelsea, won a trophy in the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League, and won four matches in the English Football Association (FA) Cup since 2019.

His responsibilities as technical advisor included overseeing the activities of all levels of the club. “I am glad that the team is now in the right hands and I am confident that the club will have a successful future both on and off the field,” said Czech. Chelsea has been owned by Roman Abramovich since 2003, but after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he had to sell it because of sanctions, but he could not make a profit from the sale. The London team finished last season in third place in the English Football Premier League.
