Before LeBron James retires from the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar wants to play with his son Bronny.

The 37-year-old expressed this wish in an interview with “The Athletic” on the sidelines of the All-Star weekend in Cleveland. “In my senior year, I’ll be playing with my son. Whatever team Bronny is on, I’ll be on there too. Money won’t be an issue,” said James.

17-year-old Bronny James is currently in high school and plays basketball at the Sierra Canyon School in California. According to NBA regulations, players can only switch to the professional league one year after leaving high school. Accordingly, Bronny James could complete his first year in the NBA in the 2024/25 season at the earliest. During that season, LeBron James will be 40 years old.
