The Korea Sports Association for the Disabled operated a program to improve awareness of the disabled in Ulsan.

The Korea Sports Association for the Disabled said on the 27th, “Together with the Ulsan Metropolitan City Sports Association for the Disabled, on the 26th, at the Wangbeodeul Madang in the Taehwagang National Garden in Ulsan, the ‘Pre-Run Mini Sports Festival’ and a sports experience-type improvement program (Dream Paralympic Games) were operated.” .

The ‘Pre-Run Mini Sports Festival’ event was held to commemorate the D-100 day of the 42nd National Sports Festival for the Disabled and the 103rd National Sports Festival for the Disabled. This is an event prepared by the venue (Ulsan Metropolitan City) for this purpose.

By linking the Dream Paralympic program mainly operated within the Icheon Athletes’ Village of the Korean Sports Association for the Disabled with the ‘Mini Sports Festival’ event in Ulsan, more citizens can experience sports for the disabled (boccia, wheelchair badminton, showdown), and through this, the breadth of understanding of people with disabilities provided an opportunity to expand

A citizen of Ulsan who participated in the Dream Paralympics said, “I usually didn’t know much about disabled people, but it was fun to experience sports in a wheelchair myself, but on the other hand, I was able to understand a little bit of the minds of people with disabilities.” I think I will be more interested in it,” he said.
