From Dortmund and Tottenham to AC Milan and Barcelona. The list of top clubs where Kevin-Prince Boateng once served looks impressive. The midfielder, now 35, is now playing his older days for Hertha Berlin, the club where he also completed his youth series.
With Hertha, Boateng managed to secure himself in the Bundesliga last season only at the last minute, thanks in part to Red Devil and captain Dedryck Boyata. As a thank you, Boateng was rewarded by Hertha with a contract extension until 2023.
To celebrate, he will treat the fans to 2,023 kebab sandwiches at the first home game of the new season against Eintracht Frankfurt, his club announced in a playful announcement on Wednesday. It is not yet known whether Boateng will also be behind the grill.
