Junior judo fighters fight for Presidents Cup

The President’s Cup Junior-Super Junior Judo Championships, hosted by Izmir City Youth Sports Club, came to an end. About 300 judo athletes from 18 teams took part in the tatami during the three-day championships at the Celal Atik Stadium.

In the 9-10 year old Super Junior and the 11-12 year old Junior, the judo players compete against each other for three days. Although most of the stands were packed, parents had the opportunity to watch the game happily.

Izmir City Youth Sports Club President Ersan Odaman said that the little judo players are watching the beautiful competition, saying: “We experienced the great excitement of nearly 300 little judo players. In our hall Three days of great racing. I want to thank all the athletes, coaches and parents who participated in the tournament.”
