What is a podcast and why don’t you call it Czech?
Podcasts are spoken word recordings placed on the Internet where anyone can play them. The plus of podcasts over radio is the ability to listen to your favorite show anytime, anywhere. If you are on your way to work, on holiday or do not want to spend the evening staring at the TV, all you need is a mobile phone, ideally headphones. The English word podcast comes from the combination of the words iPod and broadcast, in Czech it is not yet a well-established equivalent. Podcasts since last year they also publish News.

In the end, the Czech rugby player was there when he became a professional in amateur sports, he played the finals of the French league before the visit of 80,000 and at the end of the nineties he twice received an invitation to the Barbarians, a prestigious team of world stars.

“When the Barbarians were in Prague in 2017, it was a holiday. They showed modern rugby here, ”recalls a man who, after the end of his career, focuses mainly on youth development. Sometimes parents of children have to convince themselves that rugby is not a brutal sport full of violence, but rather a gentleman’s sport. He is also involved in the Coaches in Schools project, which aims to help physical education teachers with children’s sports development.

Watch today’s episode and learn more about the Olympic ambitions of Czech rugby, cooperation with American football, simulation in football, or why children are surprised that something is flowing from their hair after physical education.
