The Sub19 category debuted in the badminton activity corresponding to the CONADE 2022 Nationals, where Jalisco managed to get the first gold in the team modality, thanks to the work done by each of its six participants.
It was their staunch rival, Nuevo León, who came face to face with the Auriazules in the final matches, where they had to meet in the singles and doubles modality to win the most precious metal of the event, then relegating the Neolonese to second place.
Today the activity of this discipline continues, but in the singles modality, which will deliver the medals until tomorrow, Thursday.
The Jalisco U19 badminton team is made up of Míriam Rodríguez, Joceline López, Max Peregrina, César Franco, Juan Pablo Jiménez and Isaac Pérez, and they compete in the Reforma Sports Unit in the city of Tijuana.
