JUARA.NET – Islam Makhachev responded to the prediction of former UFC champion Demian Maia, who felt that his fellow teacher Khabib Nurmagomedov would lose to Charles Oliveira.
“I would bet the money for Oliveira’s victory if he actually met Makhachev,” Maia said.
“I’m not a gambler.”
“But I will do that,” he continued.
That’s roughly what Demian Maia said when he closed his prediction about the meeting of Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira in the UFC octagon.
Maia certainly includes the theory behind her claim.
According to Maia, Oliveira has a great chance to beat Makhachev armed with his capable defense technique.
“If there is a fighter who can beat Makhachev, then Oliveira is the one,” said Maia.
“Because Charles has a good defense.”
