Sports-science, in Baja California Sur, and field hockey, in Baja California, will be the first disciplines to see activity, starting on Thursday and Friday, respectively; meanwhile, the state will close its agenda at the end of July, with trampoline gymnastics, in Sonora.

The challenge will be to overcome the 62 medals from last year, with 17 gold, 17 silver and 28 bronze.

The result of last year was a second increase in the harvest after the 60 badges they achieved in the last edition of the National Competition System, which included the National Olympiad and the National Youth, in 2019.

That productivity of three years ago cut a negative streak, because in the 2018, 2017 and 2016 editions, with just 46, 47 and 48 badges, respectively; just when the contest was divided into two competitions, which affected some sports with fewer categories.
