The Spanish women’s team was left at the gates of the semifinals of the 3×3 Basketball World Cup, which is played in the Belgian city of Antwerp, by losing this Saturday in the quarterfinals against France in a match that it was decided in extra time by 15-14.
Spain, with Sandra Ygueravide, Marta Canella, Vega Gimeno and Aitana Cuevasdominated the scoreboard by 9-13 with a minute and a half remaining for the end, but failed his next actions to close the duel, which the French took advantage of to tie 13-13 and force extra time.
