Sava-Arangel Cestic is back on the market. The 21-year-old central defender is terminating his contract with HNK Rijeka, which runs until 2024, as Cestic confirms to ‘transfermarkt.de’: “I am happy and grateful that the club has complied with my wish to terminate my contract.”

The talented defender moved to Croatia from 1. FC Köln in the winter. Over time, Cestic lost what was initially a secure regular place – now the renewed premature separation. “The time in Croatia was very instructive and an important experience for me. I found very good conditions at Rijeka, but overall I expected more.”Cestic is disappointed about the stay abroad.
