The general assembly of the Judo club of Guipavas was held under the chairmanship of Philippe Papin, on Thursday June 23, 2022. Éric Le Foll, vice-president, and Sonia Guével, secretary, are leaving the office and will move near Montpellier. They are the parents of two judokas, Louana, 22, and Anouck, 19: both started judo at 4 years old and their parents got involved in the club at that time. “I started by coming to help David (Bizouarn, the teacher) to tie the belt knots for the little ones, among other things…”, says Sonia.
It is with great emotion that they said “goodbye” to the other adults but also to the children they saw growing up. A page turns for them but also for the Guipavasian club. They are replaced by Marion Grégoire and Lydie Ouidou.
A knowledge check
The Shin Ghi Taï trophy rewards judokas each year: for the youngest who take part in fewer competitions, David Bizouarn offers a quarterly knowledge check with a score. For the most seasoned, it is their results in competition that are taken into account.
Thus for the youngest, the winners are Zoé Avonts (born in 2017), Hugo Lahitou (2016), Maximilien Roret (2015), Pierre Grégoire (2014), who won the trophy with a perfect score of 40/40, Elias Le Guen (2013), Maël Le Dorze (2012), Pierre Beuchard (2011) and Clément Bernard (2010). Romane Laurent and Anouck Le Foll are honored for their results of the season.
Practice
Registration hours at the Kercoco complex, Thursday June 30 and Monday August 29, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and at the Forum des associations, at Alizé, on Saturday September 3. Resumption of training from Monday, September 5.
