Eight judokas from Tulum stand out in Conade 2022 Nationals

Tulum, MX.- Thanks to their great effort and excellent competitive level, eight athletes from the municipality of Tulum have climbed to the winners’ podium in the discipline of Judo, within the Conade 2022 National Games.

The activities within this discipline are held at the facilities of the Centro de Usos Múltiples (CUM), in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora, and in which the state team, under the guidance of Professor Martha Domínguez, began their journey towards the medals since last Friday.

After two intense days, full of exciting fights on the CUM tatami, the Quintana Roo Judo delegation has won a total of 10 medals, of which three are gold, one silver and six bronze.

Of this production to date, the fact that a large part of these medals have been obtained by judokas from the municipality of Tulum, home of true champions, stands out.

Ariadna Yarey Chaves Medina, in the -58 Kg division and Máximo Uriel Vázquez Asencio in the 64 Kg, are the two athletes who have climbed to the top of the podium.

For its part, the only silver medal so far has also been achieved by an athlete from Tulum, Valeria Isabel Escalante Tamayo, who obtained the national runner-up in the 40Kg division.

And finally, Naomi Dubai Cardona Salazar in the 44 Kg; Dulce Ixchel Pech Hernández in the 48 Kg; Crisaliz Monserrat Godínez García in the 53 Kg division; Zaira Paola Chávez Medina in +78 Kg and Darinel Alexander Escamilla Canul in 90 Kg, have been in charge of awarding the bronze medals obtained so far.
