From June 12 to 19, the ATP 500 category will be held in the German city of Halle on grass.

The grass-court tour of Germany continues with the Terra Wortmann Open in Halle, one of the two ATP 500 tournaments that are held in June on European grass. After the tournament in Stuttgart, with victory for Matteo Berrettini, Halle will conclude the tennis season for Germany until the tournament in Hamburg after Wimbledon.
In this edition of Halle, which does not have defending champion Ugo Humbert, the top favorite for the title will be Daniil Medvedev, who comes from losing in the final of ‘s-Hertogenbosch against the local Van Rijthoven. In a tournament that Roger Federer has won as many as ten times, in 2022 there will not be a single former champion in the final draw.
Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev, Félix Auger-Aliassime o Hubert Hurkacz are other candidates in a tournament with a spectacular poster, and far superior to that of Queen’s, which vetoes the Russians because of what they initially lost to Medvedev, Rublev or Karatsev.
