TRIBUN-BALI.COM, DENPASAR – After losing against Sabah FC, Coach Anyar Persija finally spoke about the playing style of the Kemayoran Tigers squad.
The German coach admitted that he did not like Persija Jakarta’s playing style and admitted that he would improve the technique and strategy of playing the capital city club.
Thomas Doll revealed that Persija had several problems with their playing style which caused him and his team to suffer a narrow 1-2 defeat to Sabah FC.
Persija Jakarta had the opportunity to play against Malaysian club Sabah FC at Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, Sunday 5 June 2022.
The team nicknamed the Kemayoran Tigers lost 1-2 to Sabah FC.

One Persija goal was scored by Taufik Hidayat in the 59th minute.
Meanwhile, two goals for Sabah FC were scored by Altenir Cordeiro Neto (3′) and Park Tae-su (63′).
Thomas Doll reveals Persija Jakarta’s style of play.
“Yes, my style of football is we want to be active, play from behind, we don’t always play from long ball,” said Thomas Doll.
“I checked last season we had a lot of long balls.”
