A title is gone but the season still has many challenges and we don’t have to lose a minute to achieve them.
That is what Deportes Tolima is thinking about, one day after losing 4-3 on aggregate against Atlético Nacional, in the definition of the Betplay I 2022 League title.
That is why they have immediately got to work and have presented their first reinforcement for this second semester, nothing less than a former purslane: Andrés Rentería.

“With a step in teams such as San Lorenzo, Cruz Azul and Santos Laguna, Andrés Rentería is integrated into the discipline of our club to face the challenges of the second semester. We continue working! Welcome Andrés”, confirmed the institution about this first incorporation of a 29-year-old attacker, who is urgently needed to relieve headache from injuries.
Rentería played 13 league games and scored six goals and for Tolima it will be quite a gamble. He will immediately put himself under the orders of Hernán Torres, who for now plans this Wednesday’s duels against Flamengo, for the round of 16 of the Betplay League, and then the Colombia Cup, in which he is in key C, with Independiente Medellín, for the quarterfinals.
