Deepika Padukone Accompanies Father Prakash Padukone To Tirupati Temple On His Birthday, See Photo

Deepika Padukone was seen at the Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati on Friday, along with her father, former badminton champion Prakash Padukone. They visited the temple on the occasion of Prakash Padukone’s 67th birthday. The father and daughter duo were seen on the temple premises wearing purple shawls which they received as a sign of blessings from the temple priest. The actor wore an embroidered white kurta-salwar and a matching mask. Both she and her father wore the silk shawls they received from the temple. Her sister Anisha Padukone was also seen.

Deepika and her family had previously visited the Tirupati temple on their first wedding anniversary. Ella wore a red silk sari and her husband Ranveer Singh joined her in a beige kurta-pajama. Her respective parents and siblings also accompanied them on their trip to the temple.

Deepika recently returned from Cannes, where she was a member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival. She ended her stint as a jury member in style by opting for a ruffled saree for the festival’s closing ceremony. She paired the white saree with a huge pearl necklace and earrings. Even Priyanka Chopra dropped a heart-eyed emoji when she shared a video of all the looks she wore to the festival.

She will next be seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film Pathaan. Before flying to Cannes, she finished a part of the shooting of the film with Shah Rukh in Spain. Many leaked images from the film sets have already hit the internet. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, will also star John Abraham.

Deepika will also meet Hrithik Roshan for the first time. The two will appear together in Fighter, which will be released in September next year.
