da oggi in streaming su Netflix

From today on Netflix arrives Hustle with Adam Sandler, a new film interpreted and produced by the famous actor for the streaming on demand platform, with which he has been carrying out a very profitable partnership for several years.

Set in Philadelphia, city symbol of the Rocky saga – to which the film is very inspired (especially the first Creed) going so far as to mention it openly on several occasions – Hustle tells a fictional story by placing it in a context that is as realistic as possiblewhich sees many stars and old glories of the NBA acting as themselves: the story is that of a former basketball player today an important talent scout for the Philadelphia 76ers who, cornered by a management that does not respect him, finds in Spain a young promise totally unknown but in which he glimpses a crystalline talent. He will decide to bet everything on himcutting ties with the 76ers to become his personal coach / attorney.

The film, already with the long and thick beard of an unusually serious-dramatic Adam Driver (but always with the joke ready), would suggest a lighter version of Go back to winningthe recent sports drama starring Ben Affleck; in fact the director, newcomer Jeremiah Zagar, seems to be taking it as a model Bennett Miller’s masterpiece The art of winningstarring Brad Pitt, and veering it towards the ‘second chance’ atmosphere (a term explicitly mentioned at one point) of the stories of Rocky Balboa.

For more information, watch the teaser trailer for Hustle: the film is available to all subscribers to the Netflix on-demand streaming service starting today Wednesday 8 June.
