Eintracht Frankfurt can bring Rodrigo Zalazar back to Main from FC Schalke in the summer of 2023 via a buyback option. According to ‘Sport1’, four million euros will be due in this case. A corresponding preliminary contract has already been negotiated with Zalazar, which would give him 2.5 million euros a year – but the 22-year-old does not waste any thought on a return to Eintracht.

Zalazar still has a contract in Gelsenkirchen until 2026, the commitment the newly promoted midfielder announced at the end of March. Frankfurt received 1.5 million euros for the Uruguayan.
