Colombia hung a silver medal, in mixed team badminton

The Colombian mixed team badminton team could not round off its good performance in the tournament and won the silver medal at the Valledupar 2022 Bolivarian Games.

The national squad lost in the final against its counterpart from Peru, so the Inca team won the gold. The podium was completed by the invited Dominican Republic.

Peru won 3-0 against Colombia to win the first medal that was disputed in this discipline.

To advance to the final, those led by Professor William Gutiérrez, convincingly beat the Chilean team.

The team was made up of Dainne Marulanda, Laura Londoño, Jhon Verdugo and Juliana Giraldo.
