Colleferro. The “Europe in the Municipality” project ended with a video poster made by the students of the Liceo Marconi.

COLLEFERRO – It ended successfully – and with a video – the “Europe in Common” project: investing in young people for a sustainable future and making adolescents aware of the founding values ​​of our European Union.

Starting with young people to understand what the role of Europe really is, its value and what impact it should have in our communities.
Young people as a “tool” aimed at defining long-term strategies to talk about social innovation, smart cities, global markets, enhance the attractiveness of territories, improve the life prospects of populations … Growth but also equity, sustainability, participation in life civil.

The project, which involved 25 students of the Liceo Marconi, included three “steps” of which two (the first and the last) at the‘Higher Education Room of the “Riccardo Morandi” Municipal Library of Colleferro, the remainder took place instead in Palazzo Valentini in Rome, seat of the Metropolitan City of Rome, guests of the Metropolitan Vice Mayor (and Mayor of Colleferro) Pierluigi Sanna.

If the first day was a sort of frontal lecture on European institutions and their functioning, the second day offered the students – accompanied by the Ass. Gain – the possibility of carrying out real interviews useful for the realization of the video-manifesto on the Europe of Youth; video that saw them engaged in the third and final meeting.
