Cecufid will launch the program “The CDD Come to your School”


Morelia, Michoacán, June 1, 2022.- With the purpose of promoting and disseminating among the child population the different disciplines that are part of the Sports Development Centers (CDD), the State Commission for Physical Culture and Sports (Cecufid) will launch the program ‘The CDD Arrive at your School ‘ at the “Madero y Pino Suárez” Primary School in the capital of Michoacán, next Monday, June 6, starting at 8:00 a.m. The Government of Michoacán, through Cecufid, knows the importance of activating girls and boys with the different sports that make up the CDD, especially those that are not as popular as rugby, tochito, boxing and athletics, among others, they are the disciplines that are planned to be exhibited in schools. “This program consists of bringing the sports from the CDD program to schools and getting them interested in practicing any of them. It will be done before the end of the school year so that if the students are interested in any discipline they can practice it during the next vacations,” said Julio César Juárez Escobedo, coordinator of the CDD. Juárez Escobedo said that they plan to visit seven other schools in the central area of ​​Morelia during this school term, so educational institutions that are interested in being part of this program can register at the Cecufid offices, located on Chiapas street, number 180, Molino de Parras neighborhood. In the program that make up the Sports Development Centers, sports such as chess, athletics, badminton, handball, basketball, boxing, football, artistic gymnastics, weightlifting, judo, artistic swimming, rugby, para swimming, tochito, volleyball and gymnastics are available. rhythmic Registrations are available at a cost of 250 pesos, while the monthly payments vary according to the discipline to be chosen; can be done at the Cecufid facilities.
