Ore 10,00 – 12,30 Also this year, as is now customary, the National Sports Day will be celebrated, established by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers with the directive of November 27, 2003, which takes place simultaneously throughout the national territory on the first Sunday in June. Under the direction of the Regional CONI, also in Sicily, events will be held in every city that will involve, with the coordination of the sports organizations and the affiliated sports associations and together with the local authorities, the representatives of the territories with initiatives, events and demonstrations aimed at enhancing the function sport as a fundamental factor of growth and enrichment of the individual, of improvement of the quality of life and of empowerment and strengthening of civil society.
10 Sports Federations involved, also three sports promotion bodies such as ASI, CSEN and CSI, with many sports disciplines:
Volleyball, Soccer, Badminton, Rugby, Hockey, Baseball, Bike MTB, Sicilian Stick, LaserRun and Motor, Ju Jitsu, Rotellistica, Tamburelli, Triathlon and more.
