Charles Leclerc has to tackle the Formula 1 race in Canada this Sunday (8 p.m. / Sky) from the last row.

After initially being moved down ten places due to the installation of new control electronics, the race stewards announced during the third free practice session on Saturday that practically the entire so-called power unit will be new. Because the number of permitted parts is also exceeded, Leclerc comes to the end of the field.

For the 24-year-old Monegasque it is the next setback in the world title fight. After standing on pole four times recently, but not winning any of the races, instead not finishing twice, Leclerc is only third in the classification. He is 34 points behind World Championship leader Max Verstappen from Red Bull.
