Bobby Portis declines his player option and will be a free agent

Milwaukee Bucks player Bobby Portis has declined his $4.6 million player option for the 2022-23 season and will soon become an unrestricted free agent, journalist Adrian Wojnarowski reported.

Over the last two seasons, Portis has become one of the Bucks’ most important rotation players, being an indispensable piece of the championship ring won in 2021 after beating the Phoenix Suns 4-2 in the Finals.

In his two courses wearing the Milwaukee jersey he has garnered averages of 13.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 24.6 game minutes.

His highest priority will be to continue linked to the Bucks, as he has reiterated on numerous occasions. However, offers will not be lacking when the transfer period opens tomorrow, Friday, July 1.
