Billionaire LeBron James wants to own a team in Las Vegas

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is just getting made, according to Forbes, the first billionaire working basketball player, that he already seems to know what to do with his money: own an NBA team in Las Vegas. “I want a team. I want to buy a team, that’s for sure. I want a team in Vegas,” the 37-year-old said on his talk show “The Shop.”

Las Vegas is often a city mentioned to see an NBA franchise set up there in the future, like Seattle. But last week, League boss Adam Silver ruled out any immediate expansion to 32 teams.
