Sixth-seeded Denis Shapovalov or former World No. 3 Stan Wawrinka are potential quarter-final opponents for Berrettini, who is in the Stuttgart final this week. Shapovalov, who reached the semi-finals in London last season, will start his run against Tommy Paul, while 2014 semi-finalist Wawrinka will meet Frances Tiafoe in the first round.

Cameron Norrie, current runner-up, also appears in the lower part of the draw and will debut against Grigor Dimitrov, ATP 500 champion in 2014.

Top seed Casper Ruud makes his debut at The Queen’s Club and will meet British wild card Ryan Peniston in the first round. The Norwegian, who reached his first Grand Slam final at Roland Garros, could face Diego Schwartzman in the quarterfinals. The fifth-seeded Argentine will make his debut against a player from the qualifying phase.

Britain’s #NextGenATP Jack Draper has lifted four ATP Challenger Tour titles this year and will play fourth seed Taylor Fritz in the first round. Draper scored victories over Jannik Sinner and Alexander Bublik on grass last season, while Fritz faces his debut. The American has had previous success on grass, lifting the Eastbourne title in 2019.

Other first-round highlights include #NextGenATP Italian Lorenzo Musetti taking on Bublik, while two-time Queen’s champion Marin Cilic will start his run against British wild card Liam Broady.

The 2022 Cinch Championships will take place from June 13-19 at The Queen’s Club in London.
