Basketball – Slovak national player Ihring moves to Weißenfels

Cologne (SID) – Syntainics MBC Weißenfels has signed Slovakian national player Mario Ihring for the coming season in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). The 24-year-old playmaker comes from the Hungarian first division club OSE Lions Oroszlany and is to replace the Serbian Nikola Rebic at the club from Weißenfels, who will leave MBC.

“Mario was one of the greatest talents in Europe in his youth. Now, at just 24, he is a seasoned professional with a lot of international experience. He has a good move to the basket and takes responsibility in the decisive phases of the game,” said MBC head coach Igor Jovovic.
