Awoniyi on negotiations in Greece

Nottingham Forest are getting closer and closer to signing Taiwo Awoniyi. The Union Berlin centre-forward and his agent have traveled to Greece to discuss a potential transfer with Nottingham owner Evangelos Marinakis, reports English Times and Mirror journalist Jacque Talbot.

So there are “mutual readiness”to close the deal. Awoniyi can leave Union early thanks to a €20m release clause. The 24-year-old also has the offer from Nottingham, according to ‘Sky’ “many other requests” present.

At Union, Awoniyi attacked life insurance last season. The massive center forward scored 20 goals in 43 appearances. The Berliners signed the Nigerian for 6.5 million euros from Liverpool last year.
