Unlike previous goalkeeper camps, this one will have a new corps of coaches, which will mostly consist of experienced floorball goalkeeper coaches who work with a number of leading club goalkeepers and national teams on a daily basis. The best experts of domestic goalkeepers will also work with the participants: the long-term goalkeeper of the Latvian men’s national team Jānis Salcevičs and a national goalkeeper coach Andis Blinds. This will be a great opportunity for all goalkeepers to gain international experience and train with the best floorball coaches in the world.
” Unlike other years, this year’s camp will be more intense and with an eight-hour training process. We work very extensively with the world’s leading floorball goalkeeper coaches, so this time we decided that it was time to bring all these professionals together in one place to ensure a full-fledged goalkeeper training process. Let me remind you that anyone who has reached the age of ten can take part in the camp. In addition, as this year marks the 10th anniversary of “Blindsave”, various surprises are expected for its participants during the camp, “said Andis Blinds, the current coach of the Latvian men’s floorball team goalkeeper and the organizer of the” BLINDSAVE Goalie Camp “camp.
Together with the coaches of the world’s top-class floorball goalkeepers, the camp will develop skills such as position selection and movement, reading the game, as well as video training. Using the latest technology, participants are also expected to receive special training on reaction speed and coordination.
The previous “Blindsave” goalkeeper camp, which took place in 2019, was attended by more than 100 goalkeepers from more than 15 different countries, including Finland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, and even New Zealand.
