The national badminton will say present in the medal table of the Valledupar 2022 Bolivarian Gamesafter the medal won by Ashley Montre in the women’s singles.
Montre had secured a medal after qualifying for the semi-final round in the women’s singles competition.. The only thing missing was to know what the definitive color of the medal would be.
On this day, Montre played the semifinals against the Colombian María Yulieth Pérez, falling by partials of 9-21 y 10-21so that the Chilean will keep the bronze medal.
This will be the only medal for national badminton in the Bolivarianos 2022, after the national representatives were eliminated in the preliminary rounds in the women’s doubles as well as in the men’s and mixed competitions.
The badminton awards will be this Wednesday, once the matches for the gold medals in the different competitions have been played.
