Three days of celebrations enlivened the Franciscan village for the feast of Pentecost. All the associations of the village wanted to participate as agreed during a meeting held upstream by the mayor. Garage sales by “Bon temps cueillir”, country ball by the Western Dances, meal by the tourist office, the Franciscan judo club, hiking and pétanque competition by “les amis de Francescas”, water game with the center volunteer firefighters rescue…
Animations supplemented by an inflatable structure, a ride in a horse-drawn carriage, the Gaules d’Albret fishing competition at the Lac des Trois Chênes and a cup won by Pierre Jacques.
As for the aperitif concert offered by the municipality, a nice surprise with the orchestra “Die Musikanen” (the musicians).
With airs of polkas, waltzes, mazurkas… on this Bavarian, Tyrolean and Alsatian repertoire some people sketched out dance steps and sang refrains. A concert that created a great atmosphere before sitting down for the lunch break. A seduction operation for this brand new orchestra acclaimed by the public.
