la go ahead Ai Tsunoda won the silver medal this Saturday in the final of the Tbilisi Judo Grand Slam, in the category of -70 kilos, in which she was defeated by the Dutch Sanne Van DijkeeOlympic bronze in Tokyo 2020, in a balanced fight.
The medal achieved by the 20-year-old judoka is the third of the Spanish delegation after those obtained by her compatriots Laura Martinez and Estrella Lopezwho achieved this Friday silver paths in -48 and -52 kilos, respectively.
Tsunoda beat the Romanian in the first instance Serafima Moscalu and later to the French Kaila Issoufiobtaining the victory of group D. In the semifinals the Spanish judoka beat the German Sarah Maekelburg.
