Lthe espaola oh Tsunoda won the silver medal in the final of the Grand Slam de Tiflis, one of the highest category tests of judo, in the category of -70 kilos. After successively beating the Romanian Moscalu and the French Issoufi reached the semi-finals, beating Germany’s Sarah Maekelburg.
In the final Tsunoda, who last year was proclaimed junior world champion after having already been cadet world champion, was defeated by the Dutch Sanne Van dykeOlympic bronze in Tokyo 2020, in a balanced fight.
The medal won by the 20-year-old judoka from Lleida is the third of the Spanish delegation, after those obtained by Laura Martnez and Star Lpezwho also won silver medals in -48 and -52 kilos, respectively, on Friday.
