Jeffrey Talan has found a new club. He left SC Heerenveen this summer and is now going to work as an assistant coach at Almere City FC.

At the Keuken Kampioen Divisie club, Talan will succeed Tim Bakens, who has opted for an adventure at Helmond Sport. The former international can therefore get to work immediately. He has his first working day on Monday, the club announced on its website.

Talan played for SC Heerenveen for many years and returned as a youth coach in 2010. After periods as head of youth academy, assistant trainer and transition coach, he decided not to extend his contract for the new season. He didn’t have to wait long for a new job.
