3-0. Honduras starts with victory in the Concacaf sub’20 pre-world championship

Tegucigalpa, June 18. With goals from Aaron Zúñiga, Jefryn Macías and Marco Aceituno, the Honduran national team beat Antigua and Barbuda 3-0 this Saturday on the first date of the U20 Pre-World Cup of the North, Central American and Caribbean Football Confederation (CONCACAF) .

In minute 6, Honduras had the first danger in a shot by Javier Arriaga that went over the goal of Antigua and Barbuda defended by Shahoi Dorsett.

The duel was carried out according to the rhythm of Honduras, in the 31st minute Zúñiga escaped and scored with a header in the opposite goal.

In the second half a better Honduras was seen. In the 71st minute, Macías centered the ball and shot deep into the Antigua and Barbuda goal, led by George Warner.

The Hondurans, whose coach is Luis Alvarado Amador, owned the match and in the 84th minute they let go of the third goal through a penalty charged by Aceituno.

The match was played at the Francisco Morazán Stadium, in San Pedro Sula, northern Honduras, where earlier Costa Rica tied 1-0 against Jamaica.

The tournament will continue tomorrow with the matches El Salvador-Guatemala, Panama-Aruba, Haiti-Trinidad and Tobago and Mexico-Suriname.
