That is why there has been speculation about Herlings entering the AMA, the American Championship, but that too is not an option for Herlings. “I’m not going to focus on that, my only goal now is to get my body in order. I want to start the 2023 season pain-free.”
The 27-year-old Herlings already suffered several serious injuries in his career. He became world champion in 2018 and last year, but without physical malheur that could have been more titles.
“This old man still has the raw speed and I’m going to show that again next year,” concludes Herlings.
