Bart Verhaeghe’s remarks stigmatizing Brighton’s support for the Union (see elsewhere) had already reached Unionist ears in the evening. And they were not appreciated. “We have the second smallest budget of D1a and we have accomplished something extraordinary”, explained Philippe Bormans at the microphone of Eleven TV. “It’s a pity that some put forward arguments that have nothing to do. What we have achieved is fantastic.e .” Felice Mazzù played the humor card: “Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I am very happy to be the coach of the second in the English championship.”
