Oaxaca de Juarez, Oaxaca. April 30, 2022.- With the regional Judo Macro, Oaxaca closed the qualifying rounds towards the Conade 2022 Nationals, after days of intense activity in the different scenarios, closing with a flourish at the “Hermanos Flores Magón” Sports Complex, receiving more than 160 judokas from nine entities in the country.

There were two days of intense competition in the two areas designated for this purpose, an event that dominated the state of Veracruz with 23 classified, of the 40 with which it was presented in Oaxaca, followed by Quintana Roo, with 18 tickets to the national, of the 24 that registered and Yucatan in third with 14 passes of the 18 for which he came.

Quintana Roo and Yucatán were the states that had the greatest effectiveness in the competition, classifying more than three quarters of their teams in the different categories and weights of the sub 15, 18 and 20 divisions, in the men’s and women’s branches.

The activity of the second day was in the sub 20 division, where the fights were of a higher level, with a competition that went quickly, since most of the matches were won by way of ippon, an action within judo that grants victory. immediately to the person who executes it.

On the first day of competition, Oaxaca qualified with Emiliano Reyes, who obtained his pass as first place in the under 18 division, up to 50 kilograms, by winning the three matches on the chart convincingly, competing for the first time in that category, just 14 years old.

For the second day of activity, Oaxaca classified Carlos Espinobarros, who came in second place in the under 20 category, up to 66 kilograms, being surpassed by the Yucatan judoka Wilian Peraza.

The other classified for the Oaxacan entity was last year’s gold medalist, Ian Borch, who overwhelmingly beat Jorge Fernández, from Chiapas, in the sub 20, up to 100 kilos, in a fight to define the first and second, being only two registered.
