The 69th Spring Tohoku District High School Baseball Miyagi Prefectural Tournament had a final at Ishinomaki Municipal Baseball Stadium on the 22nd, and Sendai Ikuei defeated Tohoku 8-1 to win the 26th consecutive tournament. Furukawa Gakuen defeated Sendai San 9-6 in the 3rd place deciding match.

Following the regional qualifying, Tohoku lost the final with their rivals for the second time this season and could not fulfill the humiliation.
