The commitment of some to point out that things weren’t quite as they told us did not seem to have even scratched the government varnish. Still, there are signs to think otherwise. Little champion of social redemption.
On May 16, 2022 I seen Spice.
They weren’t angry students, no black bloc rioters, no makeshift helmets and shields, no bars, baseball bats, and burning bottles. They were ordinary people, the ones who cross us in all the streets every day, with family, responsibilities, installments, mortgage and elderly dependents. Not bombard avant-gardes, but conscious individuals escaped from the amoebic barrel of well-thought.
You could tell from the clothes, the haircut, the behavior. Medium-aged, grizzled and a little heavy. Signs of a matrix, if possible, of an opposite pole to the subversive, instrumental, extra-parliamentary, provocative one. Signs of people and that’s it – they yes the majority – incapable of violence. They raised their arms against the minister of health on a visit to the Levantine city. Mostly they screamed “ashamed”, and “murderer”. Spontaneous union of non-organized, non-politicized voices, easily called no-vax.
Apparently, the multiple and repeated informal and formal denunciations of the choices and impositions relating to the protopandemic of government and politics, issued by those who have neither wanted nor been able to submit to the word sold as a science, have not produced much. No parliamentary party wanted to review their positions by distancing themselves from the governmental order. None of these believed they had to denounce the exclusion of themselves from the decision-making and democratic process. Like an icebreaker helmed remotely, the motor ship Italia – despite the many and repeated informal and formal complaints – did not change the commanded route by one point.
“Apparently” though.
It is La Spezia that signals it, says it, screams it.
If the numerous topics related to concoctions, restrictions, curfews, confinements, point cards, distance learning, the obligation of masks, watchful waiting, censorship, radiation, heroics, oxygen killers, staging, proclamations of vaccination guarantees, criminalization and charlatanization some dissenters, side effects, great resets, 5G, digitalization have not managed to get to the helm, at least they have had enough diffusion for ordinary people to raise their fists and shout “shame”. In a social sense, this is perhaps the greatest symptom of a profound dissent seen in Italy.
But the aforementioned, made up of points of convergence of a thousand authors and critics, despite the evidence in their favor that time has already brought out, did not have the strength enough to oppose the ultra-government guidelines, did not achieve much, not even the idea of how to combine its weight into oneunique ram’s head. We could speak of failure if the perspective were of a productivistic type. But failure is not.
The commitment of a thousand individuals has instead generated or taken up the social split. Incredibly separate people and institutions. Just as the dominant progressive politics got rid of the workers, we now see them distancing themselves from the institutions. If history is a resultant, we can no longer exempt ourselves from acknowledging the full state disaster.
In the process of the demolition of the institutions, the enslavement of the media – for four pieces of government money – leaves the order of journalists, doctors and more baffled. But it’s not an unwanted rift. We are not dealing with stupid suicides of the palazzo. Our interlocutors are shrewd socio-architects. What we are witnessing is not made up of reckless tiles.
It seems that someone in La Spezia has noticed it. The hope is that it will extend. What Sgarbi, Freccero, Agamben, Cacciari, Mattei, Mini, Orsini could not (what was valid for Covid, is now valid for NATO war), it seems in the powers of all Mr. Rossi. They don’t write, they don’t give interviews, they don’t participate in infect-shows. They no longer believe. They know the state doesn’t represent them. Instead, they know that what they will hear from the representatives of the institutions will be something to doubt, they will look for the true meaning beyond words.
The TV said sofrom a formula of truth it has become a voice to beware of.
The rift is now a chasm.
