The final will pit Tenerife against Manresa

For the third year in a row, a Spanish club will win the Basketball Champions League. In the first semi-final, Tenerife secured their third final after the title in 2017 and a loss to Virtus Bologna in 2019. For that, the Spaniards got the better of Hapoel Holon, who deprived Strasbourg of a place in the Final Four. An 11-2 from the start of the match set the tone but Marcelinho Huertas’ teammates (17 points, 9 assists) were never able to take cover. After going ahead on the scoreboard just under four minutes from the end of the match, Hapoel Holon did not go the distance and conceded a 10-2 at the end of the match. A last series that allows Tenerife to win (71-78).

Manresa also in the final

In the final, players from the Canary Islands will face Manresa. A qualification which was acquired at the expense of Ludwigsburg in a tight match. If the two teams stared at each other during the first quarter, it was the Germans who took the lead for most of the second. However, Yankuba Sima (15 points) allowed the Spanish club to join the locker room on a parity score. The situation changed at the start of the second half with Manresa taking the lead without however being able to take more than an eight-point lead. The last ten minutes saw the defenses gain the upper hand over the attacks with less than ten points scored by both teams. Manresa had the last laugh for a victory of eight lengths (55-63).
