In the closing match of the 6th week of the league, Girne American University (GAU) and Küçük Kaymaklı faced off at Girne Ertuğrul Apakan Sports Hall. Winning the fight 85-67, GAU rose to the second place by achieving its 4th victory with this result.
Against the Girne team, who started the match well and finished the first period 23-11 superior, K. Kaymaklı responded well in the second period and went to the locker room with the equality 39-39. GAU, which managed to play superiorly in both periods of the second half, managed to win the match 85-67.
While Emre Çetinarslan and Praise Okafor finished the game with 18 points each, Hamit Çeliktaşlılar 17 and Emre Can Mercan 16 points in GAU, Ramzi Quimsiesh became the team’s top scorer in K.Kaymaklı with 18 points.
