The Enerxenia Arena in Varese, the “temple” of city and Italian basketball, is preparing to experience another moment of great basketball. Saturday (May 28) the protagonists will be the basketball players with relational intellectual disabilities registered in the Open Promotional Tournament, branded Fisdir Lombardy.

The final day of the event is organized in collaboration with Varese Insubria Lions Club, Ansmes e Varese basketball which provides the glorious building.

The competition is a good example of openness and inclusiveness. In fact, not only the companies affiliated with Fisdir, the Federation of reference for Paralympic sports of relational intellectuals, participate, but also realities that gravitate in the orbit of promotional bodies. The tournament is dedicated to the Basic and Promotional levels, those where the important thing is to be there, play and have fun.

The day will involve a total of over 80 athletesrepresenting 7 companies (from 4 regions): Special Dream Piacenza, Ultra Di Lurate Caccivio, Pegaso Asti, Briantea84 Cantù, BIC Genova, Acquarello Piacenza and Vharese. The latter club, called to do the honors of the house, is particularly awaited.

The matches will start at ore 9 and will end around 1pm with the announcement of the winners of the tournament and applause to all participants.
