Team sports begin the 40th Reus School Olympiad

The School Olympiad was inaugurated last week, but the competitions began last Monday with individuals such as badminton and groups such as mini-basketball, futsal, 7-a-side football and paddle tennis. Yesterday the 3×3 hockey tournament began, one of the most recent additions. The slopes of the Reus Deportiu, the CN Reus Ploms and the Olympic Pavilion, among others, were filled with school-age competitors throughout the afternoon, always respecting the study schedule of their participants.

The competitions of these sports will last until the final phases that will take place next week and, then, will give way to the start of individual sports such as chess, table tennis, Catalan bowls and rhythmic gymnastics. The sport will last a third week with the start of athletics and swimming to finally come to a close on Friday, May 27. However, there are sports that are already coming to an end.

The 3×3 hockey competition that started yesterday closes today with the final stages. The Cultural Olympiad will also begin today, where several schools will participate in a contest of questions related to sports and culture. School sports in Reus will last until May 27, when the final closing of this 40th edition takes place.
