This was stated by the municipal councilor of Pozzallo, Franco Giannone, who has spent several years so that the weakest categories can access the shoreline during the summer months.
“The Municipality of Pozzallo – continues Giannone -, as a leading tourist-seaside resort, could not fail to equip itself with similar equipment, for a policy that pays attention to equal opportunities and is truly at the service of all. These sums (it is a total of 100 thousand euros for all the municipalities in the province of Ragusa) will now be transferred to the Free Municipal Consortium and can be requested by our Municipality, which will thus be able to purchase these important endowments “.
