Steph Curry and the Warriors at the heart of a shameful conspiracy?

On the verge of playing Game 3 in Memphis, Golden State took a violent accusation in the face. A famous analyst thus cried with the scandal concerning Steph Curry & co… He did not spare the league either, affirming that it was influenced by the social networks.

Bad luck for the Warriors, they will have to do without Gary Payton II for several weeks. The latter indeed found himself in the infirmary after his elbow fracture during Game 2 lost against the Grizzlies, which severely handicapped them against And Morant (47 points) and others. The fault he had suffered against Dillon Brooks had also been so visually violent that Stephen Curry and Steve Kerr had exploded in a press conferencecalling for a severe penalty.

The Dubs have also won their case after the NBA, since it delivered its verdict with a one-game suspension for the culprit. However, this decision was not to the liking of all observers, especially with Skip Bayless who has maintained from the start that it was not even a level 1 flagrant foul. Clearly frustrated, he did not hesitated to cry foul on Twitter, incriminating Adam Silver & co. :

Skip Bayless furious at Dillon Brooks suspension

The NBA makes me sick. She crumbled under social media pressure to “do the right thing” and wrongfully suspend Dillon Brooks. She also obviously wants — she NEEDS — beloved Steph Curry to go far in the playoffs, not a rising team like Memphis. Kudos to the league, Twitter owns and runs it.

According to the analyst, the league would therefore have yielded to popular demand, while making sure to make things easier for the Chief and his teammates because they have been practically the standard bearer of it for years, thanks to their dynasty. A rather serious accusation, even if we doubt that it is really founded. Bayless may not want to admit it, but Brooks’ foul on the Hall of Famer’s son was dangerous and severe punishment was inevitable.

Moreover, even if the wingman will therefore not be dressed for Game 3 that Memphis will play at home, there is no guarantee that the task will be easy for the men of the Bay. The Bears showed it by winning the last game, they are hot and will fight until the end. In addition to that, the loss of Payton II practically forces the band in Kerr to achieve a feat. In other words, all the conditions for easy success are far from being met.

Skip Bayless didn’t like the NBA’s decision on the Dillon Brooks case, calling it a conspiracy. Not sure that many people would agree with him, even more so if the Grizzlies were to win tonight.
