After the Tunisian Championship and Cup, US Monastir had its sights set on the Basketball Africa League (BAL) to achieve the treble this season. The blues and whites succeeded in their mission by winning the final against the Angolans of Petro Luanda (83-72) at the Kigali Arena. Playmaker of US Monastir, Souleymane Diabaté achieves the double in this competition after winning the last edition with the Egyptian formation of Zamalek.
