The Heat came out defeated in the fifth game of the Eastern Conference Finals by the Celtics, now leading 3-2. Miami now risks being excluded from the NBA Finals.
Joel Embiid, who watched the match, made it clear in a post that Miami needs another star next to Jimmy Butler. He even got together with Jimmy Buckets and the social comments exploded.
The Cameroonian and the Sixers were eliminated from Miami in the playoffs 4-2 this year. In 2018 Embiid and Butler were mates at Phila, losing the Eastern Conference semifinals to a winning shot from Leonard in Game 7.
Maybe Joel Embiid is saying that we should see a new coexistence between the two (who are personally very close friends with each other) in Miami in the near future? It would be an interesting hypothesis.
