Six medals for the Alto Aragonese in the Aragon Championship for teams in School Age – Sports

This weekend the Aragon Team Championship took place in Monzalbarba with Alto Aragonese representatives from Club Judo Binéfar and Club Ibón, who won six medals. With this competition the season of competitions in school age within Aragon is concluded.

On the binefarense side, the two representative teams have climbed to the podium. The female cadet team, made up of Alejandra Pérez, Yesenia Padilla and Mama Coulibaly, became the champion, clearly prevailing over all their opponents. The men’s team, made up of Sandro Plà, Hugo Terés and Raul Arilla, managed to win silver under the direction of their coaches and coaches Antonio Clager and Raúl Clemente.

Magnificent results that come to add to those obtained by these judokas who are part of the Judo Modernization Team and continue their preparation in the Modernization Classroom of the IES Sierra de San Quílez

Four teams have participated on behalf of Club Ibón, directed by Raúl and María Poblador. In the male children’s category, Martín Polo, Víctor Laguarta, Nacho Fernández, Mario Jubero were present in the light positions. In the middle, Lucas Montes, Omar Lemos, Saúl Serena and in the light heavyweights Ramón Cabrero and Jeremy Jordan. After a great competition in a modality that judokas are not used to competing in, since it is an individual sport, they managed to be silver and bronze, the first team winning four out of five matches and the second team winning three out of five. A great achievement for the little ones in the club.

Also part of the expedition were the club referee Diego Calle and part of the women’s children’s team that could not compete due to injuries Silvia Vives and Irene Miranda and as assistant to the coaches Lorien Jiménez.

End of a season at the Aragonese level with a very fun championship and in which the athletes are very relaxed since no classification is at stake.
